This is an exciting opportunity within IT Security Engineering. As the
threat attack surface continues to grow and transform, it is essential for IT
Security Engineering to deliver quality solutions and controls in constantly
evolving Enterprise environments. IT Security Engineering is looking for highly
motivated and skilled Solution Quality Analysts. These roles will be focused on
monitoring application releases through the software development life cycle and
perform testing analysis for continuous improvement to reduce future
operational costs of applications.
A Test Automation Engineer Integrates, tests, installs, configures,
and/or supports software systems under tests. Coordinates System requirements,
maps them to test automation systems capabilities, and recommends technical
solutions for automation. Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system
problems. Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems
health goals, as well as emerging capability needs. Serves as site expert for a
designated set of automation systems, including representing integrated needs
in cross-functional and cross-site teams. Position may include some software
development of related enhancements, supplemental systems, and/or support and
monitoring tools.
The Test Automation Engineer interacts with Solutions Quality analysts
to identify, prioritize, and help resolve QA/test related project and/or
process problems. The Test Automation Engineer partners with stakeholders and System
Analysts SA’s to clarify and finalize production/application requirements. The
SQA provides input to the development team to establish configuration
management systems and to establish the software release process.
Roles and responsibilities
• Develops and executes automated tests using diverse tools like
Fitness, Selenium etc.
• Integrate the test suites into the test management system and custom
test harnesses.
• Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system
architecture, and detailed design documents.
• The ability to participate effectively in estimation, planning,
cost-of-quality, and quality risk analysis.
• Provide estimates and define test schedule for projects.
• Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and
written formats.
• Design test cases that can be applied to check the details of the
software thoroughly.
• Explore the software in detail such that they can come up with the
right test cases.
• Carry out exhaustive testing of the software and check the different
segments of the code.
• Analyze the result of the test cases and search for the right results.
• Report problems found while testing the software to the team so that
the bugs can be fixed.
Experience and Skills
• At least 5 years of experience in testing and at least 2 years of that
experience in test automation.
• Working experience with Java and Selenium is a must.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred
• Experience in automating tests for a browser-based application environment.
• Speaks English fluently.
Shift Hours: 8 am a 5 pm
Shift Days: Monday –Friday
